DE 1 month against the right
The Vienna election on 27 April does not appear to be as politically explosive as the national parliamentary election in September, but the shift to the right is far from over! According to the polls, the FPÖ is at over 20 percent (compared to 9 percent in 2020!). In some districts, the FPÖ is fighting for first place. That's where WE want to start.
As we did before the national elections, in April we are conducting with many activists: hundreds of one-on-one conversations with peoplewho live in electoral districts where we can counteract the shift to the right. Directly and personally.
Whether it's with such conversations or with distributing flyers or posters and stickers, join in!
Why?
Face-to-face conversations are an important factor in the decision to vote, and most people make up their minds in the three weeks before the election. We have analysed which neighbourhoods are most likely to swing. Many people with different political views are dissatisfied, but often do not see the importance of using their right to vote.
Let's motivate them to vote on 27 April and together we can undermine the FPÖ!
It is not only important to motivate undecided voters and influence the distribution of mandates in the next parliament. It is also important for the time after the election. Let us strengthen neighbourly relations now, listen to people's concerns and start politicising together! In the long term, a solidary together can counteract right-wing tendencies.

Where do the conversation actions take place?
We are putting our full focus on the areas in Vienna where there is a high proportion of non-voters or swing voters. We will not only be present there with doorstep conversations, but also with lots of flyers (for letterboxes), posters and stickers. You can get involved in a wide range of activities. When do the conversation actions take place?
Before the Vienna election, discussion events will take place every Tuesday and Saturday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Additionally, on some other days as well. Find all dates here.
Do I have to prepare?
Ideally, for your first time, you join a conversation action that includes a training session. If that doesn't work out, you will get an experienced buddy for your first conversations and you can learn by doing it together. You can register for the conversation training and activities here.
How can I help?
